The Archives of the Greater Poland and Masovia Province of the Society of Jesus collects archive materials of deceased Jesuits and documents related to the activities of religious houses in the province.
The legacy of the deceased Jesuits
The oldest archives in the possession of the Archive date back to the end of the 19th century, and the collection is gradually expanding. We collect documents, photos, correspondence, texts on religious topics and more, notes and all kinds of mementos (including distinctions, medals, diplomas).
Materials related to the activities of the order
The archive materials from this collection relate to the activities of Jesuit institutions in the province (both current and historical), but also the various works of the order - associations, schools, missions and media, journalistic, missionary and educational activities. The collection includes magazines, diploma theses, documents and photos related to the activities of individual institutions, as well as books of pastoral, Sunday and holiday announcements, photos, documentation of the activities of local communities or parish bulletins.
